Lotus

I am a lotus, facing the sun

My colors are many and not just one,

I can be pink, purple and white,

Orange and red so bright.

On a thick stem my flowers grow,

I open up put my colors on show,

On water is where you will find me,

On rivers or ponds for you to see.

Orchid

I am an orchid and I look wild,

I like to grow in the warm and mild,

My flowers are so pretty and small,

But my stem can grow quite tall.

My plant takes many years to grow,

My flowers are worth the wait to show,

I do come in yellow, pink or blue,

Orange and purple can be see too.
