The Pet Lovers Club 2: The First Meeting

Riley: We’re ready for our first meeting of the Pet Lovers Club. 

Ben: Those snacks look good!

Riley: Hey, those are dog treats!

Ben: Ugh. Oops.

Mrs. Summers: Here are your treats!

Riley: Snooks, are you ready for the first meeting?

Snooks: Ar-ooo !

Ben: Someone’s here.

Riley: Oh, hi, Skyler. Come in.

Skyler: I saw your poster for the Pet Lovers Club. I’m so excited!

Chatter: Bad boy, brush your teeth!

Skyler: Meet Chatter, my parrot.

Chatter: Squawk ! Did you do your homework?

Ben: He sounds just like my mom!

Theo: Hi. Is this the Pet Lovers Club?

Riley: Yes, come in.

Theo: My name is Theo. I love pets.

Frankie come back

Ben: Ha-ha! He’s a good jumper.

Theo: I’m trying to teach him better manners.

Sarah: Can I come in?

Skyler: This is Sarah. She lives in the yellow house on the corner.

Ben: This is Speedy. Where’s your pet, Sarah?

Sarah: I, um, my pet is a secret.

Riley: A secret?

Sarah: Yes. A really big secret.

Theo: But you can’t keep your pet a secret.

Ben: We’re going to teach our pets tricks.

Riley: And take them places!

Sarah: The truth is—I don’t have a pet!

Chatter: Uh-oh!
