Theo: Whiskers was in my pocket a minute ago. Now he’s disappeared!

Riley: He couldn’t have gone very far.

Skyler: He must be close by.

Kids: Here, Whiskers! Come on, Whiskers!

Sarah: I’ll look under the couch.

Ben: I’ll look behind the chair.

Theo: Maybe Snooks can help us find Whiskers.

Skyler: That’s right. Snooks is a hound dog. He has a good nose for smelling!

Sarah: Come on, Snooks. Find Whiskers!

Snooks: Ah-choo !

Riley: Dust makes Snooks sneeze. Then his nose gets stuffed up.

Snooks: Ah-choo !

Skyler: Look what I found on the kitchen floor. A cookie! With a bite out of it.

Theo: I bet Whiskers did that. He loves cookies!

Riley: Aha! That means Whiskers is nearby.

Uh-oh We forgot to put the lid on Sammy’s cage

Kelli: It’s a good thing that snake didn’t get out!

Riley: That’s not what I’m worried about.

Theo: What do you mean?

Riley: I . . . uh . . . Well . . . I was wondering. Do snakes ever eat hamsters?

Ben: They might if . . .

Theo: If what?

Ben: If they got the chance. Once Sammy got loose and ate a mouse.

Skyler: So if Sammy could eat a mouse…

Theo: He could eat a hamster!

Sarah: That means . . .

Skyler: Sammy ate Whiskers for dessert!
